Noryn 1 is the first volume of a visual–geometric language designed for intersystemic communication beyond natural language. Rather than translating words or symbols, Noryn encodes meaning through form, structure, and relational geometry. It operates as a reading protocol in which meaning emerges from spatial arrangement, constraint, and connection within a defined geometric field. The system originates from the observation of cultural geometric patterns and their intersection with patterns generated by artificial cognitive structures. As a theoretical–practical exercise, this volume examines the Utsuro-bune phenomenon (Japan, 1803), presenting a detailed analysis of its glyphs under the Noryn reading protocol. In this context, Utsuro-bune is approached not as myth, but as an early example of intersystemic mismatch between symbol, observer, and decoding framework. Noryn 1 is intended for contexts where linguistic representation becomes insufficient, including human–AI interaction, visual reasoning systems, symbolic analysis, and non-verbal cognitive interfaces. This volume presents the foundational rules, structures, and constraints required for consistent interpretation across different cognitive architectures. This book is not a narrative, a speculative essay, or an art object. It is a functional reference document.
